We had a fabulous time at Riverside Terrace this month with our “Glamma Shots” event! ✨ Our ladies enjoyed a special day of pampering—huge thanks to Volunteer Sue and her daughter Jenny for the stunning hair and makeup, and to our Activity Staff for the creative props and photography. The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and a wonderful boost of confidence as everyone got glammed up and celebrated together.

This past weekend, we had the honor of celebrating our incredible volunteers at our annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon! 🌟 April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month, and we are truly grateful for the dedication and countless hours our volunteers give to our community. We had a presentation from Dr. Christine Strange on primary care, special recognition for volunteers with 5 to 35 years of service, and the celebration of our four scholarship winners. Thank you to each and every volunteer for making a difference every day at Beloit Health System! 💙

John was recognized with an Engagement Corporate Value Pin.

Candida Franke, a colleague, wrote the following about John.

“I’ve worked opposite John in the past, caring for the same patients. One time John went out of his way for a patient that left his discharge paperwork and some medications behind. John called the patient before he left work to see if the patient could send someone to get them. There was no answer. John attempted again the next evening with success. He went after work, out of his way to deliver the patient his belongings. Our other patients have also raved about John. He was very compassionate and took time to get to know about them beyond their illnesses and even gave them hugs before they left the hospital.”
