Last week we celebrated Radiologic Tech Week! We celebrated all of YOU and the essential role you play in patient care and our organization.

This team is a Kaleidoscope of Radiologic Technology with a multitude of medical imaging and radiation therapy practice areas and medical procedures to include Technologists, Radiology Assistants, Radiology Service Representatives, Nursing and Radiologists.

We enjoyed a charcuterie contest, lunch, and a JCPenney photo shoot—all to celebrate our amazing imaging staff.

Megan Fiduccia, a colleague, wrote the following about Jessy.

“Jessy’s positive energy is contagious. She greats everyone with a smile and a salutation. She expresses concern for patients and family members in the hallways and asks if they need assistance. On many occasions, she has gotten a wheelchair for a patient and taken them to their correct location. She is a team player and assists her team members in all functions of our department. Nothing is too small or too large. Jessy is someone that you can count on and is a valuable member of our department.”

Georgene Daughtry, a colleague, wrote the following about Jana.

“As an employee, I was so impressed with how my mother was treated. She is hard of hearing, and the open area at Occupational Health made visits stressful. After I asked to move her appointments to NorthPointe, Jana personally called my mother, listened to her concerns, and ensured she was paired with a caring, attentive therapist.
My mother attended all her appointments, did well with her exercises, and raves about the excellent care she received. Jana went above and beyond to make sure my mother could hear, understand, and feel comfortable throughout her visits. I’m so proud to work with such compassionate coworkers.”

A patient recently dropped off two beautiful plaques to the ICU and Intermediate Care teams as a token of his deepest gratitude for saving his life. His gratitude didn’t stop there — he also donated several rosaries to support and comfort other patients.

Special shoutout to Nurse Michele, who goes above and beyond by providing last rites and prayers for patients during difficult times. Your compassion and dedication make a difference every single day.
