Hilltop Lodge Residents are the best! During our last CLASH semester, the kids made some kindness bags for the residents of Hilltop Lodge. In the bags were some candy, lotion, facial tissues, cozy comfy socks, and a word search book. The point of the kindness bags, was to first show kindness to someone other than yourself. To show the love that Jesus showed to us all. It was also a way to show our children that we can be mission oriented in our own community. The pictures below are some of our CLASH kiddos handing out the kindness bags to the wonderful residents at Hilltop Lodge. Thank you Hilltop Lodge for all that you do for the residents of this community and partnering with us in bringing a smile to the residents faces!!

I truly cannot say enough good things about our Faith Finder kids. They fill my cup — and then some — every time we’re together. Yesterday was the perfect example. We took 19 kids to Hilltop Assisted Living to play bingo and sing, and they showed such kindness and gentleness to every resident there. My heart was so full watching them. I am so proud of these kids and so excited to see what God has in store for us.

As part of Therapies continuing efforts at Hilltop Lodge to promote the health and wellness of our long-term care residents along with the residents receiving short-term therapy they hosted and ran exercise group today bringing back a little child-hood fun!!
Parachute Exercises were completed along with an assortment of other balloon activities and "Reminiscing" questions. The vote for best Thanksgiving dessert is Pumpkin Pie with whipped topping.
