Introducing Erin Leonhardt, APSW
Erin joined the SMHS team in August 2025 as a full-time therapist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater and a master’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University. Erin is currently licensed as an Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW) and is actively working toward her Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential. Erin brings a passion for working with individuals experiencing a range of challenges, including developmental disabilities, anxiety, depression, self-harm, anger management, ADHD, and OCD. She takes a holistic, strength-based approach to therapy and values building collaborative, trusting relationships with her clients. Erin works with adolescents and adults and also provides school-based services at Gaston Elementary and The Lincoln Academy. In her free time, Erin enjoys reading, arts and crafts, spending quality time with friends and family, and visiting her beloved dogs back home whenever she can.
