Solomon Valley Hospice would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Pike Valley FFA for their generous donation of 20 tie blankets. These blankets provide comfort and make meaningful gifts for our patients and their families.

We are especially touched that the students shared how this project has personally impacted them, as many have had loved ones affected by the blanket program. Their compassion and willingness to give back truly make a difference. 💙

This is where it all began.

Nearly 100 years ago, our community made a bold decision — to build a hospital that would serve Mitchell County and evolve into a regional hub of care for North Central Kansas.

Since then, Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems has been here through emergencies, new beginnings, and life’s hardest moments.

Generations have been born here.
Lives have been saved here.
Families have found comfort here.

And now, as we look toward our 100-year anniversary in 2029, we are proud to officially launch the:

Century Campaign – A Time to Build.

Because healthcare has changed.
And our hospital must continue to grow with it.

This isn’t just about updating equipment or a building.

It’s about ensuring the next generation — and the next — have access to strong, high-quality care right here in North Central Kansas.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing stories from the past, vision for the future, and how you can be part of building the next 100 years.
