What an absolutely magical day we shared at our Moonlight Bay Prom! From the moment our residents stepped in front of the camera for their Glamour Shots to dancing the day away, it was truly something special. 💙

A huge, heartfelt THANK YOU to the incredible family and community members who made this all happen: Betty Rader, Diane Jones, Regina Reed, Brittany Osborne, Jaymie Calhoun, Angie Gant, Vickie Deleruyelle, Isabella Gilbert, Shasta Thompson, Rosie Beckett, and Kathy Dye. These amazing ladies poured so much love into this event—styling hair, doing makeup, and helping every resident feel beautiful, confident, and celebrated. 💄✨

And we can’t forget Tom Hunter, who kept the party going as our DJ and made sure the dance floor stayed full! 🎶

Our deepest appreciation also goes to our Activities Team and Dietary Team for helping bring everything together and providing delicious refreshments to top off the day. 🍰

Moments like yesterday remind us just how special our team is here at Rockland. 💜

A few months ago, an Amedisys hospice nurse saw firsthand the compassion Kelsey Rowe, one of our amazing nurses, brings to her residents. Because of that, she was nominated for their Heart of Hospice Award. Kelsey has been part of our team since day one, and the compassion she shows to residents, especially during end-of-life care, is truly incredible.

Yesterday, Amedisys joined us to present Kelsey with this well-deserved award, with her parents there to share in the moment.

We are so proud of you, Kelsey. Thank you for the heart you bring to our residents and their families every single day. 💜

Congratulations to our March Employee of the Month, Tonya Curtis! 🎉

Tonya is one of our LPNs on night shift, and we are so grateful to have her at Rockland Ridge. She was nominated by her coworkers for always being willing to lend a helping hand, no matter the situation.

Tonya is known for her kindness and the genuine care she shows our residents each night. She treats everyone with warmth and respect, making a meaningful difference in their lives. She also brings a consistently positive attitude to her work, which has a big impact on both residents and her fellow staff.

Our residents had such a fun and creative time during Occupational Therapy last week! 🌸✨ They made beautiful “stained glass” flower vases, and the results were amazing!

In addition to being enjoyable, this activity addressed key therapeutic areas such as fine motor coordination, cognitive processing, and task sequencing. Plus, working together gave everyone a chance to socialize, encourage one another, and share some laughs along the way 💕

Most importantly, it gave our residents a chance to express themselves, feel proud of what they created, and enjoy a meaningful moment together. We love seeing their creativity bloom! 🌼💛
