Looking for office space?? We have recently had a spot open up in both our Temple and Belton offices. Lakewood’s offices are highly coveted and these spots will not last long. Lakewood Counseling Center hosts mental health professions ranging from LPCs, LCSWs, LMFTs, Psychologist, and Psychiatrist in a co working space for a flat monthly fee. No precentages or extra expenses. Office rentals also allow for referrals from our robust referral networks as well as working alongside our wonderful team of mental health professionals! COUNSELOR SPOTLIGHT: Introducing, Katelyn Mott, LPC associate! Katelyn has a Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with double minors in Sociology / Women’s & Gender Studies from Texas A&M University.

Katelyn has experience with couples and those seeking counseling within other familial or relational dynamics, as well as adult clients of all ages. She is available for telehealth or in-person sessions. Katelyn focuses on providing a space where every client feels heard, seen, and supported in a way that feels meaningful to them.

COUNSELOR SPOTLIGHT: Introducing one of our newest Associate counselors starting at our Belton office in August! Erin Dunand, LPC Associate recently graduated with her Masters in Clinical Mental Health from Texas Tech University. Erin works primarily with women, and her specialties include adjustment, attachment, self-esteem, mood dysregulation, and complex trauma.
Erin also works alongside couples with varying therapeutic desires. Interpersonal relationships are often central to our daily life, so difficulty or dysfunction in this area can be particularly distressing. She has experience counseling partnerships that are cohabitated, married, or seeking premarital guidance.
Whatever the interpersonal difficulty, Erin wants to facilitate a place where productive conversations about difficult topics can happen. Erin works on a discounted rate and is currently taking new clients! To learn more visit

Did you know that today is Lakewood Counseling’s FIVE year birthday??? This was dream that started with a few counselors and a simple office…with a very simple sign! I’m humbled and amazed to have watched it grow in the past five years into three clinics in three towns with over 30 providers! We look forward to what the next 5 years will bring for hope, healing, and enriching the lives of those in our communities! Happy Birthday LWCC!!! 🎉🎉

Belton ISD graciously sent our group a certificate of recognition for helping out Belton High School last spring during a crisis. I’m proud of our group for hopping in on a moments notice and working alongside students, parents, and staff. Giving back to our community is one of the highlights of our work!
