Here is a note from our nurse!

Hi everyone! I’m Tiffany, and I am so excited to officially join the team here at the office!

Transitioning into primary care is a huge milestone for me. My heart has always pulled me toward a setting where I can truly get to know my patients and their families, and I’m looking forward to being a long-term partner in your health journey.

I have lived in the Kansas City area for almost my entire life, and I love this community. I am joining the practice with 10 years of nursing experience as a registered nurse, including time spent in leadership roles. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for both the clinical side of medicine and the personal connections that make nursing so rewarding.

When I am not at the clinic, I love to travel with my husband and our two kids. We are always on the hunt for a great local spot to eat at every single place we visit! I am most excited about building close, lasting relationships here, both professionally and through sharing life stories. There is something so special about seeing a patient thrive over the years, and I am honored to be part of that process.

Meet Carmen — one of the bright, compassionate faces behind the scenes here at Vitality DPC!

🔥 Fun Fact #1: Her go-to snack? Flamin' Hot Funnyuns — we’re not saying she’s tough, but that snack choice speaks for itself.
🚴‍♀️ Fun Fact #2: Carmen once went Coast to Coast on a Rotary trip — from the East Coast all the way to the West Coast... and back again! Talk about endurance and adventure.
🐟 Fun Fact #3: She’s been a pescatarian vegetarian for years and is our unofficial expert on delicious plant-based meals.
🐶 Fun Fact #4: Carmen has a pack of four pups at home — and yes, they’re just as fun and full of personality as she is.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Bonus: She’s the youngest of seven siblings, which probably explains her friendly, go-with-the-flow energy!

Before joining Vitality DPC, Carmen was a student — and she brings that same curiosity and drive to everything she does here. We’re so lucky to have her on our team!

In celebration of National Grilling Month, we're delighted to share grilling tips to elevate your cooking skills and promote a healthier lifestyle.

1) Remove excess fat from meats to minimize fat content and prevent charring.
2) Marinate lean proteins for a minimum of 30 minutes to infuse flavor.
3) Incorporate an abundance of vegetables and fruits to boost vitamin and fiber intake... and flavor!
