๐Ÿ“ฃ Stalking Awareness Post

Stalking is not romantic.
Itโ€™s not harmless.
And itโ€™s not rare.

1 in 3 women and 1 in 6 men will experience stalking in their lifetime.
It often includes repeated unwanted contact, surveillance, threats, and controlโ€”and it can escalate quickly.

If someone has told you no, and the behavior continues, that is stalking.

๐Ÿ’œ Survivors deserve to be believed.
๐Ÿ’œ Boundaries deserve to be respected.
๐Ÿ’œ Awareness saves lives.

If you or someone you know is experiencing stalking, help is available:
๐Ÿ“ž National Stalking Resource Center โ€“ stalkingawareness.org
๐Ÿ“ž National Domestic Violence Hotline โ€“ 1-800-799-SAFE (7233)

The Stalking Prevention, Awareness, and Resource Center ensures allied professionals have the knowledge to identify and respond to the crime of stalking.
