Hi, I’m Dr. Kynndyl Giannonatti — but most people call me Dr. G 😊
I grew up in McIntosh, Minnesota, and my path into optometry started a little earlier than most. After my very first eye exam as a teenager, I remember being completely fascinated. My mom is an optician, so I had some exposure to the world of eye care — but seeing it from the exam room side opened my eyes (no pun intended!) to just how unique and complex vision really is.
From that point on, I knew this was something I wanted to pursue.
I went on to attend Concordia for undergrad and later completed optometry school at Pacific University. Even while I was away, I always knew I wanted to come back to the Midwest. I love the pace of life here, the sense of community, and being close to the people who matter most.
My husband and I now live in Erskine with our energetic four-year-old son, and we truly love this stage of life. When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find us spending time with family, enjoying the outdoors, or relaxing with a good book.
I currently see patients at White Spruce Optometry on Wednesdays, and I can honestly say I love being here. The team is so welcoming, supportive, and easy to work with — and I genuinely enjoy getting to know my patients and being a part of their care.
I feel incredibly grateful to live and work so close to family, and to be part of a community like this. Thank you for trusting me with your eye care — I look forward to seeing you in the clinic. 🤍
