On behalf of Pathways to You, I would just like to say how proud I am of this community and how we are all banding together. This storm is a traumatic event that likely will lead our community to seek even more mental health services.
Trauma comes in many forms, and natural disasters certainly qualify.
But please don’t forget, one of the best trauma treatments we have is connection with others. So yes, when you are out there helping your neighbor cut up branches or giving rides to people, you are giving them some of the best help possible.
