Please help us in congratulating Program Director, Janice Szczech, on being selected as a Community Support Services Grand Hero. Jan has been serving individuals since Polk County started offering services to people with disabilities and has been with REM North Star for 14 years. During her time, Jan has been instrumental in enhancing the lives of the individuals she supports and the people she has worked with. “Jan recognizes the value of each person we serve and the teams that we work with. She is the first person to help out with programs outside her scope and is a tireless advocate for the rights of our individuals,” said Regional Director and nominator, Kari Metzger.
