Hello! I am officially hiring for summer! We need 1-2 people for manufacturing / farm, 1-2 people for events, and 1-2 people for retail! Part and full time hours available. Pay starts at $18-$20 with a minimum $3 annual raise. We are a conscious business which means we are LGBTQIA+ friendly, mom-friendly, mental health friendly, and treat our staff as HUMANS rather than cogs in a machine. You clock in and out meaning all breaks are paid, vacations are not only allowed but encouraged (just give us two weeks notice), and if you can’t find childcare you can WORK WITH YOUR KID! That’s right you heard me. We take mom friendly to a whole other level. IRA and PTO options will be available starting after 6 months of employment.

Tips are included for all retail and event staff. Biggest requirement is a love for plant medicine. Management experience, higher education degree preferred but not required. Hey Bend folks! checking in. Our staff / owner are taking a much needed break to spend time in nature, unplugged and rejuvenating our souls. Work is a circle and sometimes it can seem never ending. 😰
Taking breaks, stepping out of the hamster wheel, and rediscovering WHY we work with plant medicine is the most important puzzle piece of our company. Now, as the owner, I am not always the best at taking breaks (if you know me, I’m sure you spit your coffee out reading that! 😉). I can get caught up in fulfilling orders, maintaining supplies, homesteading, gardening, marketing, marketing and more marketing, leaving little time for myself. This year I vow to change that. If we loose our “why” as business owners and do not feed our souls then this work that we once loved so much becomes daunting. My promise to myself and my staff this year is to take more breaks, spend more shifts harvesting in the wild, and rediscover the “why” on a daily basis. .llc we run a conscious business and sometimes that looks like turning your phone off and getting naked in some hot springs for a few days. December 18th, 2018 changed our lives forever in ways that we could never even begin to imagine.

I started Royal Juice Company in my dining room, then moved into a home office, then into a commercial office/kitchen, a storefront, then bought a farm which will grow all of our produce next year and now we are almost finished building a manufacturing facility.

It all started with a single Facebook post and one conversation with my wife sitting at the dining room table one night. I was an avid juicer going back to school to study alternative medicine with an emphasis in herbs. I wanted to find a way to provide plant medicine for everybody. I wanted to make medicine and create something that was accessible to all, palatable for the masses and entirely self sufficient with little to no carbon footprint. I wanted to run a conscious business that took care of their employees that treated everyone in the company equally. So let’s put a Facebook post and see what happens? One Facebook post. That’s all it took and my eyes sprung open. This wasn’t just something people wanted it was something they NEEDED.

Today I can proudly say we provide sliding scale to all customers, we pay our employees $15 an hour minimum plus tips, we will be growing all of our produce and most herbs for our juice and herbal medicine by spring, and have created a brand that connects to people who DON’T understand herbal medicine. We make herbal medicine easy, approachable and focus on formulating our products for every-BODY.

Happy Birthday to something bigger than I could have ever dreamed. Something unstoppable that will change plant medicine forever. Cheers to 3 years, we’re just getting started! (These were the first business photos unknowingly sitting on the floor of the future store 🥲)
