Ahhhh I can’t really word about this right now so excuse me if I ramble a bit (cause that would be so unlike me 🤣)
I fell in love with when I first read let’s pretend this never happened so many years ago (if you haven’t read it please go do- you will laugh the hardest that you ever have) Since then my admiration for her had grown, the way she can be so vulnerable & real, yet funny & hopeful. Her books are helpers- they’ve helped me & my family navigate some tricky things. I really just can’t thank her enough ♥️♥️♥️
My daughter & I were lucky enough to meet her on her last tour in 2015 at Powells in Portland & am hopeful to go again in April 🤞🏻 though… it’s on a Wednesday & I work, we will figure it out!
I feel so deeply appreciative & lucky to have received an advanced reader copy of her newest book “how to be okay when nothing is okay” I’ve already jumped in ♥️
This post in no way sums up what I’m trying to say - ugh, whatever I’m such a human being- but I’m just full of gratitude 🙏 ♥️
Side note- a while back asked what brings You joy on her social media- my answer was “making weird art” and it’s at the top of her happiness kickstarter list & I literally whooped when I saw that!!
❤️
