In this immersive workshop, we’ll journey through a collective sound experience designed to release stress, awaken creativity, and reconnect you to community. We’ll begin by laying down and receiving the healing vibrations of sound healing instruments—allowing the body to soften, the mind to quiet, and stress to melt away. As the tempo gently shifts, you’ll be invited to sit up, take a drum or instrument, and join the rhythm, transitioning from listener to participant in a powerful collective sound experience.
You’ll learn how sound and rhythm support regulation, presence, and emotional release, while experiencing firsthand the benefits of both receiving and creating sound. Listening to sound healing instruments can promote deep relaxation, clarity, and a sense of inner balance, while drumming has been shown to reduce stress, release stored tension, and increase feelings of vitality and joy. You’ll explore simple rhythmic patterns, intuitive play, and attuned listening—no musical experience required—while discovering how collective music-making builds trust, coherence, and a felt sense of belonging.
This workshop is for anyone craving stress relief, creative expression, and authentic connection—whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply longing to be part of something meaningful. Bring a drum if you have one, or arrive empty-handed; there will be plenty of instruments to share, and all are welcome just as they are.
