Life changed in a flash last year. Been holding it all close to my heart. Been spending these last few seasons stopping. Stopping living by rules that were made for me by strangers. Stopping the old loops filled with “shoulds” and “what if’s” and “what could have been’s?”

This has been a time of true radical permission to find who I am. Underneath the masks, underneath the politeness, underneath the noise.

Still keeping it all close to my heart but so much has been cooking. Just wanted to touch in here and say hello.

This year, more than ever, I’ve had so many folks (whether highly sensitive, neurodivergent, experiencing burnout, or entering perimenopause) in my spaces wondering why they're so exhausted even though they're doing all the "right" things.

And I've seen so many make the mistake of doing more - more therapy, more focus on trauma, more courses, more trying to fix themselves - thinking they just haven't found the right solution yet. It feels really counter-intuitive, but they have it backwards. Doing more is not the solution.

So I'm thinking of putting together a gentle self-assessment guide (for free) that would help people like you get out of survival mode without the endless self-improvement hustle.

Therapists are holding all of this… with nowhere to place their own weight.

That’s why I built Body of Work, now in its 9th year.

Because I saw a deep need in the therapists I support for a place where they are allowed to be all of themselves - tired, complex, wise, all at the same time. A place where difference and neurodivergence isn’t something to hide or override. A place where presence matters more than performance.

That’s what Body of Work is.

It’s a supportive space for integration that’s consistent, somatically rooted, deeply trauma informed, neuro-affirming, and real. A place for you to bring your client questions, to bring your human self, a place to remember that you’re already whole, and you don’t have to do this alone.

Most of the therapists I work with don’t need more training or more information.
