Scotty Ku**er of Ten Junk Miles created the World’s Longest Turkey Trot Charity Run to honor his good friend Alfredo who died of ALS. The trot runs between Chicago and Milwaukee and comes close to 100 miles. These past two years, Scotty has used the run to help fund Band of Runners’ Trail Camp. If you got into today we recommend booking accommodation in Palisades Tahoe for the couple of nights before the race ASAP. Ideally walkable to the start line. Other bookings are less time pressured but this sells out and makes it a lot more convenient.

The lottery is always stressful to watch. Hardly any of 's runners got in, but we reserve a few spots for lucky lottery entrants.
