How to identify:
1) A visible, tender bump right below the kneecap
2) Pain that gets worse with jumping or sprinting
3) Sensitivity when they kneel down
Why this happens?
Your child’s bones are growing faster than their muscles, causing the quad tendon to literally “tug” on the growth plate. It’s an overuse injury and we can help!! Don’t let this sideline your kiddo!!
