There’s something special about coming together around food. 💛

Recently, residents gathered for a cooking class — sharing recipes, learning new skills, and enjoying time with neighbors. Moments like these remind us that home is more than a place — it’s the relationships we build and the sense of belonging we create together. At FFAH, we believe in celebrating community in all its forms — and this is what it looks like in action.

Next up in our FFAH Staff Spotlight series is Nicole! 💛

“The Foundation is a great place to work because I genuinely look forward to seeing my co-workers every day. It’s a collaborative environment where people feel like friends, and we truly operate as a team. There’s a strong sense of support and shared purpose, and that makes the work meaningful. It’s also family-focused, with an understanding that our lives outside of work matter — that balance and care for one another really sets this place apart.”

It’s this kind of connection and care that makes FFAH more than just a workplace — it’s a community.

The next generation of FFAH is making an impact. 💛

Recently, our Foundation kids came together to pack kits filled with essential staples and words of affirmation for community members experiencing homelessness.

It’s powerful to see young people stepping up, learning the importance of giving back, and showing compassion for others in their community. These moments remind us that building stronger communities starts early — and that the spirit of service runs deep at FFAH.

So grateful and honored to support this incredible organization! 🙏💙

At FFAH, it’s our people who make the difference—and Robin captures that spirit perfectly:

“I truly love working at FFAH because of the incredible culture of compassion. From the leadership team to my colleagues, there is a genuine sense of appreciation for one another that you don't find just anywhere. It’s more than just a workplace; it’s a community of wonderful people who support each other in the office so that we can better serve our actual community. Being part of a team that leads with heart makes every day rewarding.”

We’re so grateful for team members like Robin who lead with heart and help bring our mission to life every day. ✨

Meet Bonnie, who shares why working for FFAH is so meaningful not only for herself but her family.

"Working at FFAH and our mission means everything to me.

We provide homes for families, seniors, and veterans a like — people who deserve safe, comfortable, and affordable housing. But we know that starts with us. Our leadership gets it: you can't show up for residents if you're burnt out or uninspired.

So, we show up for each other. For our own families. For real work-life balance in an encouraging & supportive environment.

The combination of meaningful impact + genuine care for our people? That's rare. But that is FFAH💙💛"

✨ Next up in our Staff Spotlight series... Meet Amy! ✨

Amy’s story is a powerful reminder of why our work matters.

“I truly love working for this company and the purpose behind everything we do. As a young single mom, I once lived in affordable housing. Having a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home changed my life and my child’s life. It opened doors and created opportunities I never would have had otherwise.

That’s why this work is so personal to me.

This company isn’t just a workplace, it’s family. We’re supported, valued, and genuinely appreciated for the work we do. The benefits are incredible, but even more meaningful is the culture of care, respect, and work-life balance. Leadership encourages us to thrive both professionally and personally.

I’ve worked for many employers over the years, and I know how rare this kind of environment is. This company is truly one in a million. I’m proud of what we do, and I’m grateful every day to be part of a team that feels like home.”

We’re honored to have Amy on our team—bringing lived experience, compassion, and heart to everything she does. 💙

Building Homes, Creating Communities, Enriching Lives

FFAH is a family run company created to positively impact other families and communities. We create safe, comfortable, high-quality, affordable homes that enrich the lives of its residents and communities and connect residents to educational, recreational, and social services.

“Home” is more than the roof over your head. Home is that corner of the world you can call your own – a space to find respite and to welcome your family and friends. By using creativity, flexibility, and perseverance, the Foundation has developed over 190,000 housing in 13 states.

The Foundation has three core activities; own affordable rental housing, partner with for-profit organizations for the ownership of affordable rental housing, and to serve its properties through the provision of resident services.

FFAH is a tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) public benefit nonprofit corporation. We ease the burden of State, County, and Local Housing Authorities through the construction, acquisition, and operation of low-income and senior housing. We use our years of hard-won experience to make the process as straightforward as possible. By focusing on the profitability and sustainability of each of our projects, we have been able to build safe and comfortable housing for those who need it most.
