An client in their eighties had been struggling with a feeling of tipping over forward for weeks before having a major fall. The fall caused a lot of pain in the right shoulder. We used NKT and some kinesiology tape to treat the shoulder- it was feeling dramatically better after this.
I still felt concerned about the reason for the fall. With a little detective work we discovered that one Psoas was overworking and inhibiting the other, and a quadriceps muscle was inhibiting a gluteus maximus muscle. After treating all of this the client felt much better. The tipping over feeling was gone and a hammer toe that routinely hurts quit hurting. She walks, stands, and moves differently now. The risk of a future fall has been reduced and her ability to enjoy moving in her body has been increased. 🥳
