I was in a bit of a baking mood this morning so I whipped up some chocolate chocolate chip protein muffins! They turned out pretty good and I just might have to make these again later!

The only question is: when figuring out the macros and nutrition information for a recipe, what do you trust more-ChatGPT or what my MyFitnessPal tells you? I’m thinking MyFitnessPal.

2. Practice hip-opening stretches for five to ten minutes, which assists in letting go of deeply held emotions that can settle in the pelvic region.
3. Observe the shoulders, as consciously dropping them away from the ears helps alleviate the metaphorical weight of excessive responsibility that often leads to physical rigidity.
4. Gently massage the stomach area in a circular motion to soothe lingering anxiety, as this region frequently reacts to emotional turbulence.

Developing this awareness creates a bridge between mental peace and physical ease. Taking these small moments for yourself is a quiet but powerful act of care.

Stepped on the scale this morning and it was up a smidge. Closing in on 4 weeks away from my first competition. I’m choosing not to stress about it. It’s just one number on the scale and that does not define me nor does it define my journey up to this point. I’m focusing on my why, what I want, and I’m gonna keep showing up. If you’re on a similar journey and you have your ups and downs, keep showing up for yourself. What number on the scale is just that. It doesn’t define you and it’s just one little piece of the puzzle. Happy Monday- let’s do this!

I had my banana 🍌 protein pancakes! They’re so good 😊 I could eat them at least 2 meals a day! I’ve actually done that, lol.

The scale was a bit up this morning. I’m not surprised because of how this weekend went. I’m focusing on not stressing about that and getting back on track and focused on hitting my macro goals and getting my gallon of water in, my 10,000 steps in, weights and cardio. Closing in on 4 weeks left before my competition. I can do this! 😅💪

The number count below includes 2 cups of coffee- one with half & half and the other with a lower fat non dairy creamer. Something I’m kinda proud of is that since I’ve been on this journey, I’ve weaned myself off of sugar in my coffee ☕️.

Calories: 599
Carbs: 61g. Fat: 18g. Protein: 49g.

Sorry coach if you see this video. Last night was an Oopsie. I was feeling all the feelings and definitely went way overboard. Fitness and health journeys are like that sometimes. Nothing is perfect. Time to get up head to the gym and go get a good leg workout on and use those extra carbs.

Getting closer to competition. Feeling very grateful that I’ve made it this far. A bit weirded out by the number that I saw on the scale this morning. I now weigh what I did in high school and that’s strange. But thankful for this journey. it’s been hard but well worth it! Thanks for joining me!

I had one of my favorites- cod 163g, steamed broccoli 🥦 125g, and some rice 🍚 90g and a side of guacamole 🥑 2.5oz.
-Also ended up having a cup of coffee with 2 tablespoons of half & half, and 1tsp of monkfruit sweetener.
