Our Veterans and residents enjoyed a special day yesterday with veteran-themed activities and each of our veterans were recognized with their own hat. Thank you to our veterans for their service.

Here are just a few examples of some great Halloween pumpkins that were entered in our contest last week. The creativity is definitely being taken up a notch these days! Cookie Monster was voted the winner.

The residents and staff had such a great time celebrating Halloween. On October 30th the theme was 70s or 50s decade, and we saw some great costumes. The residents got to play games, eat treats and hand out candy to trick or treaters that came by. Some even participated in dressing up along with the staff. On October 31st we encouraged all staff to dress as bees. Definitely one of our favorite holidays here at Crescent Manor.

Our Mobii Table is still a big hit. There are so many great games and trivia that can be played by residents of all levels.

October 19 to 25 is National Infection Prevention Week. This week is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of infection prevention and control (IPC) in healthcare settings and communities. We bring awareness by wearing our red t-shirts promoting hand washing and not touching your face.
