use a garment laundry bag to wash and sanitize LEGO blocks or bath toys in the dishwasher. Take them out before the heated drying cycle and let toys air dry (outside if possible).

Don’t miss out on something that could be great just because it could be difficult. I learned this in 2017 after 16 weeks of pretty tough training when I ran my first half marathon. The feeling of conquering something I let people convince me I could never do from the time I was a child was pretty awesome as my feet crossed that finish line. I promise, if you really want it, whatever it is, will be worth every tear and drop of sweat you’re willing to give.

11/13 Today I am thankful this human was born! We met 40 years ago when I was barely out of high school and I thought she was the coolest person I had ever met. As the past 40 years have flown by, our 10 year age gap is pretty inconsequential and I could not be more blessed than to call her friend. She has seen me through so many ups and downs and through it all has always been there whenever I called. Happy birthday my friend-here’s to many more!

Looking forward to a weekend with my family and friends, being silly, enjoying great food and doing a little sleuthing at the midnight circus masquerade! Not sure about a repeat of last year’s epic win, but I’m gonna give it my best shot!
