As much as I love everything about Christmas, my favorite memories will ALWAYS be my kitties and the joy we witnessed every time our tree went up. We only lost a handful of ornaments in 35 years due to rambunctious behavior thankfully! Seeing them peeking out from behind packages or curled up without a care of the world made de-furring the tree skirt more than worth it every January!😻🎄💜

times two! Colored or white lights? Twinkling or not? We found a pre lit tree several years ago that allows for multiple options. I am not a fan of the twinkling option, but I love colored lights during the day and the soft glow of white lights after the sun sets.

Treat a metal snow shovel with car wax to prevent snow from sticking to it when you’re clearing the driveway, sidewalks, and stairs after the next winter storm.

Memories are truly gifts, especially when you are able to revisit them without pain or sadness. Though we don’t talk anymore, this day in 2017 was one of the best days of my life. A perfectly planned trip by my sister that started with my first time seeing Strawberry Fields, singing and crying, and finished with a broadway show starring Jason Mraz. She made it beyond special down to the last detail. I Am so grateful to truly understand “don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened”
