This worksite wellness collaborative is a partnership between Countryside Public Health, Kandiyohi County Public Health, and Renville County Public Health's SHIP Programs, working together to support employers in building healthier, more supportive workplaces.

Happy Public Health Thank You Day!
Today we celebrate the people who quietly keep our communities healthier and safer every single day.

In October, our Countryside Public Health team partnered with the Minnesota Department of Health to host a vaccine clinic at Riverview Dairy - one of our region’s largest employers. Together, we provided over 200 vaccines to help protect local families and keep our workforce strong.

To every public health worker, partner, and community member who shows up, rolls up their sleeves, and supports this work - we thank you! Your efforts make a difference, right here at home. 💙

As temperatures drop in Minnesota, we’re all spending more time indoors - and often turning to space heaters, fireplaces, and extra heating sources to stay warm! These can be lifesavers on a cold day, but they also increase the risk of home fires if not used safely.

During Winter Hazard Awareness Week, take a moment to double-check your home heating habits and make sure your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms are working. A few simple precautions can help keep your family safe all season long.
