🚨 Snow Emergency Declared – Starts at 10 PM Tonight (11/25) 🚨

The City of Benson is declaring a snow emergency beginning tonight at 10 PM due to expected snowfall of 2 inches or more. Snow removal operations will begin immediately, and the snow emergency will remain in effect for 72 hours or until cleanup is complete.

During the snow emergency, please follow these parking rules:
🔹 No parking on AVENUES: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
🔹 No parking on STREETS: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
🔹 Parking allowed on both streets and avenues: 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
🔹 You may park in public parking lots during restricted hours
🔹 Once snow removal is complete on your street or avenue, normal parking may resume

Trick-or-Treating in the City of Benson will take place Friday from 6:00 – 7:30 PM!

We hope everyone has a fun and safe night out! Please keep these quick Halloween Safety Tips in mind:
🕸️ Be visible: Carry a flashlight or glow stick and add reflective tape to costumes.
🚗 Drivers, stay alert: Slow down and watch for trick-or-treaters crossing streets.
🏠 Stay safe: Visit well-lit homes and stick to familiar neighborhoods.
