Wednesdays are for recovery at Elevation Recovery and this Wednesday we have a special guest who comes to share A Message of Hope.
No matter where your heart is, hope anchors our heart in God’s promises.

Come feel hope and be encouraged as you take a step toward change in your life.

Dinner begins at 5:30PM served by Wesley Chapel Global Methodist Church. Program wil begin right after dinner at 6:30PM.

Lesson 18: Grace

“Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.”
(Matthew 5:23–24)

Two weeks ago, we talked about forgiveness. Tomorrow, we will be discussing how, when we offer forgiveness, we are also offering the gift of grace—expecting nothing in return from those who have hurt us.

Tomorrow, Elevation Recovery will help us understand how we can be more like God—showing grace to others as He is so gracious with us.

The program will begin at 6:30 PM, right after dinner at 5:30 PM, graciously provided by Benson Global Methodist Church. I’ll see you there!

✨Testimony Night at Elevation Recovery ✨

This Wednesday, we invite you to join us as we hear the testimony of Danette Ingram.

Danette Ingram is the Vice President of JoCo Angels Opioid Awareness & Peer Support Group and a passionate advocate for faith-based recovery. After losing her daughter Dakota to fentanyl poisoning in 2019, Danette turned her journey of grief into a calling to help others. Through JoCo Angels, she educates youth and community groups on drug awareness, sponsors individuals entering recovery treatment, supports families impacted by substance use disorder, and leads grief support groups. Danette is an active member of her church and has served in its recovery ministry since 2021. She shares her testimony to offer hope and encouragement and to walk alongside others so they never feel alone.

Danette’s story is one of loss, faith and a reminder that healing is possible.

Lasagna and salad will be served at 5:30pm, provided by Coats Global Methodist Church
Program begins at 6:30pm

Principle 6: Evaluate all my relationships. Offer forgiveness to those who have hurt me and make amends for harm I’ve done to others, except when to do so would harm them or others.

“Happy are the merciful.” (Matthew 5:6)
“Happy are the peacemakers.” (Matthew 5:9)

Tomorrow we will talk about why it is important to both give and accept forgiveness, the impact it has in our life and spirit and most importantly, what God has planned for us when we forgive: plans to heal, restore and set us free.

STEP 5: We admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs.

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.”
-James 5:16

One of the bravest steps we can take is admitting our wrongs to God, to ourselves, and to someone we trust. It’s not easy, but honesty brings freedom and healing. Admitting where we’ve fallen short is how we move forward and let God begin His work in us. 🙏💛

✨TESTIMONY NIGHT WEDNESDAY ✨

Though to unforseen circumstances her testimony was postponed earlier this summer, we’re grateful to have Shanon Partin with us tomorrow night to share the message God has placed on her heart.

Shanon is a God fearing woman who has overcome many different challenges in life. Her testimony is one that will encourage others to know that God never leaves us and stands beside us in our struggles. Her testimony is one of redemption and forgiveness, which gives us hope that there is always Hope in Darkness! 🙌
