FJDM “MARY, ARK OF THE NEW COVENANT – CENTRE OF MERCY” Medical Clinic will come to fruition in Uganda by God’s Mercy and your support.

Many lose their lives due to lack of medical facilities. Thanks for prayers/support to give the gift of LIFE! Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy Foundation of Jesus The Divine Mercy (FJDM) seeks to provide hope and new life to hurting people, in various locations, with a focus especially on the children. This "new life" is made manifest through endeavors to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the poor, the homeless, and the downtrodden, globally. Sharing time, talent and finances enables projects designed to encourage prayer and often introduce some villages to the precious heaven-sent gifts of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Holy Rosary. While placing an emphasis on the vocal aspects of the prayers in the Presence of the Blessed Sacrament, we are including yet another element. We incorporate reverent, universally understood movements to the prayers thus enhancing the depth of the prayer experience, which promotes unity with God and one another. We are working with local Church leaders to distribute our Family Eucharistic Holy Hour program in various languages to respective cultures to introduce and teach about The Divine Mercy worldwide, including, but not limited to, praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy as given to Sister (Saint) Faustina. We also embrace the opportunities we encounter locally to teach and encourage our children and families to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Holy Rosary, thus following the guidance of Our Lord (The Divine Mercy) and Our Lady (The Ark of The New Covenant), joyfully praying these powerful devotions before the Blessed Sacrament. We believe this structure will unite us with the Hearts of Jesus and Mary to bring about healing in the mystical body of Christ. The intent of our work is simple - to share the merciful love God has for all His people. We are called to be His hands, so we extend His mercy. We are called to be His witnesses, so we teach His mercy throughout the world. We ask that you join in our work to bring hope to His chosen, and ask that you prayerfully consider how you can help. O Eternal Love, You command Your Sacred Image to be painted

O sweet Jesus, it is here You established the throne of Your mercy

REFLECTION

Scripture: To thee only have I sinned, and have done evil before thee: that thou mayst be justified in thy words and mayst overcome when thou art judged. For behold I was conceived in iniquities; and in sins did my mother conceive me. For behold thou hast loved truth: the uncertain and hidden things of thy wisdom thou hast made manifest to me. Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop, and I shall be cleansed: thou shalt wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow. To my hearing thou shalt give joy and gladness: and the bones that have been humbled shall rejoice. (Psalm 50:6-10)

Prayer: Lord Jesus, we give thanks that You bless whoever approaches Your rays, and that there is hope for us in that even a soul all black will turn into snow through Your compassion.

We give thanks to You, Jesus, that we can have hope because comfort flows from Your open Heart as if from a pure fountain.

We want to approach this fountain to give You all praise. We want to join in the praise of Your mercy because You have opened Your Heart to save our souls.

Action: At some time today, find an image of The Divine Mercy. Look at the image and give thanks and praise to Jesus for the Mercy that pours forth from His Heart. Look at the image and pray the words of Saint Faustina written in this Diary quote.

Lord, it is our hope to be able to say the words that we read from Saint Faustina: that You and Your love are surrounding us. That we know Your love and are trying our best to love. That we cannot know of a way to prepare better. That we are trying throughout the day to follow the inspirations of the Holy Spirit.

Let us try this day, and every day, to cultivate interior silence, so that we may always be able to hear Your voice and follow on the path safely into Your arms.

15. + Today, my soul is preparing for Holy Communion as for a wedding feast, wherein all the participants are resplendent with unspeakable beauty. And I, too, have been invited to this banquet, but I do not see that beauty within myself, only an abyss of misery. And, although I do not feel worthy of sitting down to table, I will however slip under the table, at the feet of Jesus, and will beg for the crumbs that fall from the table. Knowing Your mercy, I therefore approach You, Jesus, for sooner will I run out of misery than will the compassion of Your Heart exhaust itself. That is why during this day I will keep arousing trust in The Divine Mercy.

Lord, we thank You for this image of the wedding feast that Saint Faustina recalls in her soul as she prepares for Holy Communion. You have invited us too. May we ponder this invitation and consider the preparations we are making in our souls.

We, too, must know that we are unworthy of this invitation; we give thanks for the other image she shares in her writing: staying in humility below the table at the banquet awaiting Your great mercy.

Lord, help us this day to be truly open in our souls to practice this humility, and to wait daily and hourly upon Your mercy. Do not allow us to be far from You. Instead, may we always seek to be near You, even below the banquet of Your table, and always remain open to receiving the mercy that we need.

My Preparation for
Holy Communion

Strength from Holy Communion. (Diary 1826)

When I had received Jesus in Holy Communion, my heart cried out with all its might, “Jesus, transform me into another host! I want to be a living host for You. You are a great and all-powerful Lord; You can grant me this favor.” And the Lord answered me, "You are a living host, pleasing to the Heavenly Father. But reflect: What is a host? A sacrifice. And so …?"

O my Jesus, I understand the meaning of “host,” the meaning of sacrifice. I desire to be before Your Majesty a living host; that is, a living sacrifice that daily burns in Your honor.

When my strength begins to fail, it is Holy Communion that will sustain me and give me strength. Indeed, I fear the day on which I would not receive Holy Communion. My soul draws astonishing strength from Holy Communion.

O living Host, light of my soul!

Reflection: Our God is our refuge and strength: a helper in troubles, which have found us exceedingly. God, You are our refuge and our strength.

When our strength fails, we can find Your strength in Holy Communion. You are our ever present help in times of trouble. Help us not to be afraid.

May we, like Saint Faustina, draw our strength from Holy Communion...astonishing strength. O Jesus, living in the Holy Sacrament of the altar, be the light of our souls!

14. + Today, my soul is preparing for the coming of the Lord, who can do all things, who can make me perfect and holy. I am preparing very carefully for His reception, but there arose the difficulty as to how to present this to Him? I rejected it [this difficulty] at once. I will present it as my heart dictates.

Lord God, Your word teaches us the importance of preparation.

Saint Faustina longs for the right preparation in her soul for Your coming.

Do we take time and effort to make preparations for You? When we receive You in Holy Communion, spend time with You in adoration, or even talk to You in the silence of our hearts, do we prepare?

Lord, help us to learn this lesson today. Because of the value of Your presence in our souls, lead us to know how to prepare a worthy place for You. Help us to prepare very carefully for Your coming.
