It’s time for Back-To-School well child visits, sports physicals an immunizations! Any child 5-7 years old who comes in for a well child visit before September 1 will be entered in a drawing for a Lego set! February is School-Based Health Care Awareness Month! Your Benton Harbor Student Health Center provides health care, physicals, immunizations, counseling and referrals to students in the area from age 5 to 21. The staff includes nurse practitioner Michael Jaskiewicz, nurse Ashley Sharpe, therapist Roberto Overton and coordinator Freddie Carouthers. The center, located in the annex building behind the high school, is open Monday through Thursday from 8 to 5, and Friday from 8 to noon. To make an appointment or for more information, call (269) 605-1277.
