Scans yesterday. Labs, pre-op and now post-op today. She did great, and the port is out. Scans and labs are all clear!! She's done!! Ready to go home and asking about Arby's 💜

🥹 From Milas Momma:

From September to now. My baby fought her battle and won. Chemotherapy was hell for her and she had the most beautiful head of thick, gorgeous hair. Watching her go through chemo, watching her hair thin and fall out. Watching her skin go from olive to yellow. Seeing a little bit of her spirit break with each appointment. Holding her as she sobbed in pain and exhaustion. Watching them hook her up each time and seeing that poison flow through those tubes into her little body..things I never thought in a million years I would be witnessing. All of my anguish was drops in a bucket compared to what she herself went through. My little girl is the strongest human I know. She took every bit of it in stride and faced every appointment with resilience, strength and courage. I am so incredibly blessed to be her mom and I am overwhelmed at how much I am in awe of her. As of December 19, 2025 my sweet girl is in remission and recovering well. Today she took the plunge and asked me to finally shave the last of her hair off. Shaving my daughter's head was sad, but also cathartic for the both of us. She did it. She beat it. She kicked ass. Gone are the last bits of her chemo treated hair. She goes into 2026 cancer free and ready to thrive. 💜💜

Mila rang her victory bell today 💜 This nightmare is finally just about over. She is in remission and done with treatment! My baby is a warrior. She faced hell and came out the other side. All that's left is scans and surgery to remove the port in a month. We are so incredibly thankful for everyone that has helped and supported my family through this battle. Thank you for holding me up and helping support my baby. I am so blessed 💜💜

Thankfully Mila is coming to the end of her treatment and our nightmare is nearly over. During this time I haven't been able to work and I'm very excited to get back to it once this is over. Unfortunately I'm down to the last of my resources and we're scrapping the barrel. I know times are tough for everyone all around, especially with the holidays. If anyone is able to spare a bit to help us get through this transition period, my family and I will be eternally grateful! Thank you to everyone for your continued support during this whole ordeal and helping us get through!! 💜💜

💭 from Milas Momma 🥺

We're home and Mila is resting. These last few treatments have been really rough for her. Not just physically but emotionally too. She has had such an incredible resolve through all of this. She has been so strong, taking it all in stride. Most of the time you wouldn't even know this kid is battling cancer. Though she has come to the point where she's done. She kind of cracked open today and shared that "You never really know how hard something is until you have to do it, I didn't think this would be that hard". She asked that maybe we shave her head this week. She's become a little self conscious with how it looks. We have all told her she is gorgeous in every way, no matter what. She's also fed up with her hair being everywhere. It's breaking off and it's uncomfortable. Lots of tears today. From both of us. Seeing my baby just emotionally spent, physically wrecked..whimpering in discomfort. It's by far the hardest thing I've ever had to bear witness to. Knowing there is next to nothing I can do but hold her and tell her how incredible she is. I made sure to remind her that she is a warrior. That she is so strong and so brave. That 2 weeks from now, she will have officially kicked cancers ass. 2 weeks from now my baby gets her victory walk. She will ring that bell. I don't think I've ever felt such heartbreak and pride all at the same time. I am so proud of this little human I made, she truly is a gift and an inspiration 💜

💬 Update from Milas Momma:

Unfortunately, another rough day for Mila. Her sense of smell has become so sensitive. Even a whiff of the alcohol wipes to clean her port between meds is enough to trigger her. So she was prescribed Ativan. Luckily it's kicked in and she's calmed down and fallen asleep. Waiting on the pharmacy to mix her chemo. Hopefully she sleeps through most of the afternoon through the meds. 💜

🎙️Update from Milas Momma:

Mila had a really rough day today. With her body seemingly getting weaker, the chemo effects hit harder. She has always really disliked and shuddered at the smell and taste of the saline flush. She has since developed a very high sensitivity to it. Poor kid vomited about 20 times today. All before the chemo. They were getting access, taking vials for testing and beginning her starter meds. One to protect her heart from the chemo and one for nausea. All need to be followed by saline. The second the saline hit her bloodstream, vomit. Her nurse and the pharmacist were amazing. After doing a little digging, they found another patient some years ago had the same reaction and found that a saline made without the preservatives seemed more tolerable. So we tried that and like magic, she was able to stomach it. She eventually calmed down enough to start her infusions. We're home and resting and hoping she feels better tomorrow 💜
