The annual Birch Tree Communities Leadership Development Retreat was an incredible opportunity to invest in the people who pour so much into our members every day. We are truly grateful for our therapists and administrative leaders, and we’re committed to equipping them with the tools and support they need to thrive.

During the retreat, each branch selected an outstanding employee to be honored as a “Recovery Champion” at our awards luncheon. We’re proud to celebrate these dedicated team members who make such a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

A special congratulations goes to Mountain View’s Associate Director, Theresa Trammell, for being recognized with the Outstanding Branch Leadership Award—well deserved!

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute for providing such a beautiful setting for our retreat as we worked together to plan for the continued growth and improvement of our organization.

Member Success! 🎉

Our Oxford team recently came together to celebrate an incredible milestone as one of our members completed his 911 program! We honored him with his favorite meal, presented him with a certificate, and shared heartfelt words recognizing his hard work and growth.

We are so proud of all he has accomplished. As he discharges from our program and heads off to trade school, we wish him continued success and fulfillment on his journey toward a satisfying and meaningful life. Congratulations! 👏

BIG NEWS IN IZARD COUNTY!

Birch Tree Communities is thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of our newly renovated Oxford Complex! We officially cut the ribbon this week, marking an exciting new chapter for our Oxford program and the community we proudly serve.

What was once a vacant school gymnasium sitting unused for years has been transformed into a vibrant, welcoming space for our members and staff. Renovations began in 2025 in partnership with Sowell Ferris Architects and LiveCo Construction, and the results are incredible! After extensive repairs, asbestos abatement, cleanup, and a full interior redesign, the new complex now includes:

🏀 A full gymnasium
🎨 An expressive arts studio
💪 An exercise room
🏢 Expanded office space
🍽️ A kitchen for events and gatherings
🛠️ A maintenance shop

We’ve also added dedicated office space for our chief clinical officer and a psychiatric nurse practitioner who support our northern branches. We can’t wait to see all the ways our members will thrive in this beautiful new space! 💚

Mountain View was full of love this weekend! 💕 Our members had lots of sweet smiles as they shared a special Valentine’s Day lunch, drew names, and exchanged thoughtful cards and small gifts with their special friends. ❤️

It was a heartwarming day filled with laughter, kindness, and all the love that St. Valentine would have wanted!
