VERY IMPORTANT, please read and share!

Some of you may have received information about your costs going up by using an independent pharmacy. The data is clear: establishing a fair and reasonable dispensing fee floor does not increase patient premiums.

I feel compelled to share accurate information with our customers and our community in an effort to combat the widespread misinformation and scare tactics used by the PBMs (Pharmacy Benefit Managers).

I want our patients to understand that premium increases are a business decision by your PBMs-not a statutory requirement - and that PBM’s retain discretion over their profit margins. In many cases, we are paid below our cost of acquiring and dispensing medications. There is a movement to remedy these unfair practices that allow PBMs to line their pockets, while independent pharmacies are struggling to stay above water. We appreciate the love and support this amazing community continues to show Mon Ami.
