We have an OT graduate: Hallie!💙

Hallie is 5 years old and has been coming to Inclusionary Therapy to work with Mrs. Allison on kindergarten and school readiness skills. During her time in therapy, they spent lots of time practicing handwriting, cutting, and using fasteners to help prepare her for success in the classroom.

Hallie has worked so hard and shown so much determination while learning these new skills. We have loved watching her confidence grow each week. We are so proud of all she has accomplished and the progress she has made.

We will miss seeing Hallie at therapy, but we know she is going to do amazing things in kindergarten. Congratulations, Hallie!

Physical Therapy Graduate: Gwen!

At just 2 1/2 years old, Gwen has worked so hard and made incredible progress. We have loved having her sweet, quiet yet sassy personality in the clinic. She and Mrs. Karson have shared so many fun moments in therapy, and Gwen has been with her since Mrs. Karson first started at Inclusionary.

Graduation days are always bittersweet, but we are so proud of Gwen and all she has accomplished. Congratulations, Gwen! We are cheering you on! 💙

⭐ Patient Spotlight: Abel ⭐

Abel is a 5-year-old who comes to Inclusionary for both speech and occupational therapy, and he holds a very special place in our hearts. Fun fact—Abel was one of the very first patients to begin therapy with us at Inclusionary! Being part of those early days makes him a true OG, and watching his journey unfold has been incredibly meaningful for our team.

Abel always brings a smile with him when he walks through our doors. His joyful spirit and sweet personality brighten the therapy room and remind us why we love what we do. From the very beginning, Abel has shown determination, curiosity, and a willingness to try new things.

Since starting therapy, Abel has made tremendous gains. We have had the privilege of celebrating so many milestones with him and watching his confidence grow along the way. Seeing his progress and success has been such a rewarding experience for everyone involved in his care.

One of our favorite things about Abel is his curiosity. You can almost always find him exploring his environment, discovering new things, and engaging with the world around him. His sense of wonder makes every session fun and meaningful.

Abel truly loves coming to therapy, and we absolutely love having him here. Being part of his journey has been an honor, and we are so proud of how far he has come. We can’t wait to continue cheering him on as he grows, learns, and achieves even more.

Way to go, Abel! We are so proud of you! 💙

In case you missed it!

Last week, we shared information about the research-based impacts of screen time. When working to decrease screen time, it’s important to REPLACE that stimulation rather than simply take it away. Providing an alternative activity can make the transition much smoother for children.

To help with this, we’ve created an information sheet filled with great sensory-based activities that can be used when replacing screen time. These activities support engagement, regulation, and play while offering meaningful alternatives to screens.

Be sure to check it out and save it for later!

✨ Patient Spotlight: Fiona ✨

Fiona is a sweet, curious, and kind 4-year-old who brings such a gentle light to Inclusionary Therapy. She participates in speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, and she shows up ready to work hard every single time!

Fiona may be soft-spoken, but her determination speaks volumes. She approaches new challenges with bravery and a positive attitude, always giving her best effort. Her therapists love watching her grow stronger and more confident each week.

Outside of therapy, Fiona loves all things girly and treasures spending time with her family. Whether she’s playing, learning, or practicing new skills, she does it with heart.

We are so proud of you, Fiona! Keep shining and reaching for the stars 🌟

Let’s talk screen time!

No shame. No guilt. Just real conversation about what supports growing brains best.

When we know better, we can choose more intentionally. And small, consistent shifts can make a big difference over time.

If you are looking for a sensory-friendly Easter egg hunt experience, we highly recommend reaching out to A Place To Be- Farm Sanctuary! They offer scheduled appointment times for individual families, allowing your child to participate in a calm, low-stimulation environment without the added chaos of large crowds.

They are incredibly accommodating and strive to meet a wide range of sensory and accessibility needs. This is a wonderful option for families seeking a more inclusive and supportive holiday experience.

We are thankful and proud to support an inclusive place for all like The Farm Sanctuary!

We have a physical therapy graduate: Case!🎓

Case has officially graduated from physical therapy after working closely with Mrs. Karson on running skills, strength building, and overall coordination. Watching his growth has been inspiring and a reminder of what consistent support and encouragement can do.

Milestones like this matter and we’re so proud of you, Case! 💙

🌟 Patient Spotlight: Kyle🌟

Kyle is a bright, spirited 13-year-old who attends Inclusionary Therapy for both occupational and speech therapy services. He brings energy, enthusiasm, and plenty of smiles to every session!

Each year, Kyle proudly participates in the Penguin Project play at Playhouse in the Park, where he shines on stage and shows off his confidence and creativity. When he’s not rehearsing or performing, you can find him talking about one of his favorite interests—Pokémon!

Kyle truly keeps us entertained here at Inclusionary Therapy. He works hard in every session, always pushing himself to grow, and his determination continues to lead to meaningful progress. His commitment to therapy is helping him build the skills he needs for greater independence, success, and functionality each day.

What we love most about Kyle is his big heart—he works hard and loves even harder. We are so proud of the incredible progress he continues to make!

Keep shining, Kyle! ✨
