God isn’t always mysterious. Sometimes, the ways he bestows love and caring on us are crystal clear.

Gratitude doesn’t just guide us to God’s love, it gives us immediate relief from the pressures and pains of worldly concerns.

Amazing, isn’t it? God works in some wonderful ways!

God doesn’t always call us in ways that are comfortable. It’s up to us to answer the call, with faith that answering that call, even if it feels too big, is how God gives us the means to grow, to thrive, and to elevate into a life that matches the calling He gave us.

What’s something God asked you to do that felt too big in the moment, but faith inspired you to say yes? Share with us at thebestME!

As a veteran myself, I want to take the time to say thank you to every servicemember.

I know the sacrifices you made in service to the citizens of this country. I know how big a difference your service made in the world. I know that you showed up, no matter what, and I know that wasn’t easy. I’m right there with you, proud and grateful all at the same time.

With Gratitude

Same Place, Different Purpose

Egypt.

For the children of Israel, it was a place of bo***ge; chains, oppression, and cries for deliverance.

But for Jesus, Egypt was a place of safety; refuge, protection, and divine covering.

Isn’t it wild how the same place can hold two very different purposes?

What once broke someone else might be the very ground where you find peace…

What once felt like captivity in one season might become your covering in another 🤷🏽‍♀️

Don’t curse your Egypt too soon.

Sometimes God hides you in the same place that hurt somebody else.

Sometimes He calls you to stay put, not to suffer, but to survive.

The key? Discern the purpose of your place 🙏🏽

Is this a season to break free, or a season to be still and covered?

Either way, God is working through the very soil you’re standing on.

🌿 Scripture Anchor:

When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son. Hosea 11:1

💭 Reflection Question:

Where might God be using a place that once felt painful as a place of protection in your life right now?

🌻 :

Not every hard place is harmful, some are Holy. Stay long enough to find out what this season is really about.

Put away your laptop, plug in your phone and leave it in another room, and sit for a moment, just you, your journal, and God.

Reflect. When has God been your anchor through one of life’s storms? What did that teach you, about life, about the Lord, about yourself, about your faith?

On Making Northwest Arkansas Unapologetically Dope

What does being “Unapologetically Dope” mean? It is about not asking for permission to be yourself, not shrinking for others, and resting in your own sense of what makes you Dope! It took me a while to get here.

Here is my story... Essentially, growing up, both of my parents were addicts. I didn't come from a healthy family. In a lot of ways, this is what has been the driving force my whole life: creating a reality for myself that is the opposite of how I grew up. It's a drive for something that I didn't have, something I so desperately wanted, and something I will never stop striving towards.

Arkansas is where I was born and raised. It's where I said I would leave and never come back to, a place where I left a lot of heartache and pain.

I said I never would, but I came home. I have it on my heart that I might be uniquely equipped to be able to impact the community for the better. This community.
