Did you know ReWild has indoor clinic space for inclement weather days? ⛈️☔️
Even though we’re nature-based, we’re prepared when the weather isn’t.
On stormy, icy, or extreme heat days, we transition indoors to keep sessions safe, focused, and purposeful — without missing progress.
Nature when we can.
Clinic space when we need it. 🌿🏡

ReWild the Child NWA was founded when we recognized a need in our community for kids to have an adventurous sensory integrative play experience and reconnect with nature and detox from screen time.
Practicing in a clinic environment as pediatric occupational therapists, we have worked with children of all ages to assist in sensory processing, motor skills, and self-regulation in order to participate in all areas of their activities of daily living successfully. Although a clinic environment is extremely useful, we saw the benefit of a sensory rich experience of outdoor play. Our sensory camps are for all children to enrich imaginative play.
Research has shown that time spent playing outdoors is beneficial for the health of all children both physically and emotionally. A few of the positive benefits of outdoor play may include:
Reduced anxiety and improved self-esteem
Improved sensory processing
Improved motor abilities/balance
Strengthened immune system
Increased eye-hand coordination
Increased attention
Improved problem solving and creativity
Our understanding and training in child development allow us to guide play exploration that is natural and inspiring. We want to provide a safe experience for the children of Northwest Arkansas to reconnect with the adventure of outdoor play beyond the backyard.
