Meet the person behind Thrive Studios. 👋

Andri Kukas has been a licensed massage therapist for nearly two decades and owns the studio right here in Old Town Berea. She studied at Lexington Healing Arts Academy and has been training in craniosacral therapy through the Milne Institute since 2014, one of the most respected CST training programs in the world.

Clients travel from Lexington, Richmond, and beyond specifically for her craniosacral work.
Her specialties include craniosacral fascial therapy, myofascial release, Reiki, and yoga therapy for clients of all ages, including infants and children.

Thinking about booking for the first time but not sure what to expect? Let us walk you through it. 🙂

When you arrive at Thrive Studios, you'll fill out a brief intake form so your therapist understands what you're working with. Then you'll have a chance to chat before you get on the table.

You undress to your own comfort level. You're draped the entire time. Your privacy matters here.
Your therapist will check in with you throughout: pressure, temperature, focus areas. You're always in control of the session.

Afterward, most people feel relaxed, lighter, and a little sleepy in the best possible way. Drink some water and take it easy the rest of the day if you can.

That's really it. It's a safe, professional, no-weirdness experience. We promise.

Did you know craniosacral therapy isn't just for adults? 👶

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is one of the gentlest forms of bodywork there is, and it can make a real difference for infants and children.

Parents have brought their little ones to us for things like:
✨ Sleep struggles
✨ Fussiness and inconsolable crying
✨ Tongue and lip ties
✨ Mood and emotional regulation
✨ Colic and gastric discomfort
✨ Recovery after a difficult birth

The touch is incredibly light, no oil is used, and the results often speak for themselves.

Appointments for infants under 2 are 30 minutes and just $30. Children's 60-minute sessions are $60. A guardian must be present for all clients under 18.

April is Stress Awareness Month. Which, honestly, feels very on-brand for most of us. 😅

Massage therapy isn't just about relaxation. It actively helps your body manage stress by lowering cortisol, calming your nervous system, and interrupting that low-level fight-or-flight mode a lot of us walk around in without even realizing it.

One hour on the table can do more for your stress levels than a lot of other things you might try.

This month is a good reminder that taking care of yourself isn't a luxury. It's maintenance.

We are so thankful that Thrive Studios‘s staff and spouses got a well deserved night out to celebrate the season together. Dinner at our neighborhood pizza pub, Apollos was fantastic and fast, even though the house was packed. We merrily mingled with our beloved Berea at the Folk Center with many of you for more feasting, crafting, company, ceremony, and carols last night.

We love being in community with you, Berea! Thrive Studios staff will continue to serve your wellness needs through bodywork, massage and craniosacral therapies into the new year when we also bring on a fourth therapist.
