I had a wonderful time as always, celebrating kids who stutter with The Stuttering Association for the Young and of course, Paul Rudd at the 12th annual Paul Rudd All Star Bowling Benefit. Paul knows that if you stutter, you have a community, a voice, and that you inspire the world every day! ❤️

We are always celebrating Stuttering Awareness! Thank you to Mayor Jubin and the Watchung Borough Council for the ISAD proclamation last night! However, the most special and heartfelt thanks goes to Roman who is brave every day and accepted his proclamation like the superstar that he is! Thank you to Roman's amazing family as well!

Did somebody say it is almost National Stuttering Awareness Day? Woo hoo, thank you, Mayor Mahr and the Fanwood Borough Council for recognizing the importance of stuttering acceptance and working to destigmatize stuttering in the community as a stuttering proclamation was issued on October 6th. Special thanks to Fanwood residents, Gabriel and Cathy, for allowing me to be on your stuttering journey with you!!!

I feel so fortunate to be here in Denver at the annual
National Stuttering Association conference. Thank you to everyone who came to my "Approaching Stuttering" workshop today and helped to make it so engaging and interactive! As always, supporting people who stutter and their families, is my passion and it is such a pleasure to be speaking about what I love, here, alongside the stuttering community!

What a gift to be at the 23rd Annual SAY Benefit Gala which honored actor Richard Kind and Survivor contestant Mitch Guerra as well as showcasing the talents of people who stutter like former Pediatric Speech friend, now a musical theater superstar, Daniella Sapone. Supporting people who stutter is my passion, and I am inspired every day by the work and outreach that SAY does to provide advocacy and life-changing programs for young people who stutter. What a beautiful morning to testify before the NJ Senate on S3558 in Trenton today, a bill for health insurance companies to improve speech therapy coverage for people who stutter. It was a dream to be there testifying alongside former NBA star and NJ native, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, an advocate for the stuttering community as well as one of my favorite moms and humans,Tracy Paris Benjamin, and her amazing son, Myles. Thank you to all of the Senators who listened to us today, and to the Assembly members, like Assemblywoman Collasos-Gill who know how important access to healthcare is for the stuttering community. Don't give up, change is always possible!
