Celebrating 3 Years of Solace Counseling & Wellness! 🎉🩵🥰
Three years ago, I opened Solace with one hope in mind: to create a space where people could feel supported, accepted, and met exactly where they are.
Today, as I look back, what stands out the most are the connections made, the stories shared, and the privilege of walking alongside so many in their healing journeys.
One of the most meaningful parts of this work has been the support I’ve been able to provide within our community and just as equally, the support the community has shown in return. Moments like clients sharing their recent successes or the incredible turnout at our Ponies & Pancakes event remind me why I do what I do. Your encouragement has meant more than you know.
Over these three years, I’ve grown not only as a provider but as a person. I’ve become more confident in my role and have discovered a niche that has truly captured my heart: Equine-Assisted Therapy. Being the first to bring this service to Morgan County has been one of the most exciting parts of Solace’s journey, and I can’t wait to continue growing and expanding in this work.
In the past year it’s been exciting to grow and add to the practice. I now have with me:
-Courtney Miller, Wellness Coach
-Lisa Fulton, Executive Assistant
-Katelyn Reese, Equine Professional
-Yoda and Hickory, Therapy Ponies
My hope has always been for Solace to be a place rooted in:
Connection
Trust
Compassion
Hope
Safety
To every client, supporter, and community member thank you for trusting me, for walking through vulnerable moments with courage, and for allowing me to be part of your story. It is an honor I never take for granted.
Thank you to all my friends, family and the community for supporting me this year! This has been my favorite year yet and I can’t wait to see where year four takes me with all of you beside me.
Here’s to growth, healing, and many more years of doing meaningful work together.
