Berkeley Springs Salt Cave is RIGHT on the edge of the Town of Bath!
Only in Morgan County! Tell me… who else has a mayor so hands-on that he’s out personally delivering bottles of water around town?! 😄
That’s right, Mayor Greg stopped by with the Town’s brand new commemorative water, labeled “Compliments of the Town of Bath” featuring George Washington himself enjoying our water, as it should, because we all know he was a fan! With our 250th birthday coming up, this special bottled water is just one of the fun ways the Town is celebrating, and you can grab one for yourself for free at the Berkeley Springs-Morgan Co Chamber of Commerce office and other spots around town!
For those who may not know, the official town name remains the Town of Bath, incorporated in 1776, but it’s also been known by the post office name, Berkeley Springs, since the early 1800s. Bath, Berkeley Springs… whatever you call it, we love our town and our county. 💛
And while we’re talking about the Town… can we just take a moment for the people who keep everything running? From Town Hall to Water Works, from our Police Department to all the behind-the-scenes staff, these are the folks showing up every single day doing the work that keeps this place special. It may not always be flashy, but it matters. A lot. 👏👏👏👏
We’re especially excited to see the Town getting even more involved through their Town of Bath Ontrac program, and we’re looking forward to helping with the upcoming Founding Flavors Food Truck Festival on May 29th - if there’s food trucks involved, you already know we’re in! 😋 🍔 🌮 🍦
And truly, it’s always such a great thing to work with the organizations that are working hard to make this town shine, support each other, and create something fun for the community. That’s when the magic really happens.
So here’s to great water, hardworking people, a whole lot of history, and a town that keeps showing up for its community every single day.
Morgan County Welcomes You! 💛
