This is one of the biggest concerns people have before starting.
Pelvic floor therapy should not feel aggressive or forced. The goal is to work with your body, not push through pain. Your first visit focuses on understanding your history, symptoms, and goals, and everything is explained clearly with your consent at every step.
Treatment may include breathing work, gentle movement, education, and hands-on techniques when appropriate. Everything is adjusted to your comfort level. You can pause, ask questions, or stop at any time. The goal is to help your body feel safe, supported, and able to move without discomfort.
