If you’ve been craving better sleep, start here 🌙

Sauna therapy offers powerful, sleep-boosting benefits rooted in how your body responds to heat. As your temperature rises in the sauna, then gently cools afterward, your body begins to produce melatonin, the hormone that helps you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.

Here are 3 sauna tips for your best sleep yet:

1️⃣ Time your session 1-2 hours before bed.
Give your body space to move from heat to cool-down. Using the sauna too close to bedtime can keep your temperature elevated and make it harder to fall asleep. Finishing 1-2 hours before bed allows your body to cool naturally, triggering melatonin release and preparing you for deep, restorative rest.

2️⃣ Keep your sessions short and consistent.
More isn’t always better. Aim for 20-30 minutes, 3-5 times per week. Regular practice helps regulate your circadian rhythm and trains your body to associate the sauna ritual with calm, recovery, and readiness for rest.

3️⃣ Hydrate and unwind after.
Sauna sessions are a release of heat, tension, and toxins. Replenish your body with water or electrolytes, and let your cool-down become part of your ritual: stretch, journal, or sip a calming tea. As your body temperature lowers, your nervous system shifts into “rest and digest,” creating the perfect conditions for sleep.
