Our update for the month of November is out now, we're pleased to announce that while we’re not currently serving Oakland Repair Clients, we’re committed to bringing this service back in the future.

In October, the funding for our wheelchair repair work in The City of Oakland was completely spent, and we are currently not able to serve Oakland Residents that require regular maintenance on their power chairs. But this does not mean that we have given up on serving Oakland Residents in the future...

SNAP Benefits are currently suspended due to the government shutdown. So we've created a list of organizations that are working on helping our community stay nourished and supported.

As many of our clients and community members have heard, SNAP benefits (known as CalFresh in California) are currently suspended due to a federal government shutdown. This disruption affects thousands of families, seniors, and individuals across Alameda County who rely on monthly food assistance to....
