It's Pajama Day at CEID! Today, students and staff came to school dressed in their coziest outfits, excited to show off their unique style with friends! Our classrooms all gathered together to enjoy yummy snacks while watching The Snowman, a heartwarming tale that filled the room with joy and wonder.

Cozy comfort creates the perfect environment for curiosity and learning to flourish. Thank you to our amazing teachers, families, and community who helped make this special day so memorable!

CEID's Play & Communicate program is now enrolling! Play and Communicate is a weekly group designed for children who are Deaf Plus that encourages play as a method of learning and building connections.

The group is led by our licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, Francesca, who describes the approach as “scaffolded but unstructured” — offering just enough guidance to support communication and social interaction while still allowing children the freedom to play, create, and be themselves. The group accommodates all different types of play and meets children where they are at, creating opportunities for joy and allowing them to discover new interests.

Time: Wednesdays, 3–5pm
Place: CEID, 1035 Grayson St, Berkeley
