Yoga Sita Movimiento

Yoga Sita Movimiento Sita Movement: created by Nefertiti Kelley and Barbara Moran in 2011. Nefertiti simply loves what yoga does to herself. Just feeling good with our bodies.

We seeks to integrate mindful practices, services & products by making them accessible to our culturally diverse communities. Our private Yoga Flow en Español borrows from several disciplines to form a unique practice that helps develop awareness and inner peace. Barbara found her way to yoga through dance, initially as a way to stretch and build strength, but soon recognized its powerful healing qualities and became fascinated by its holistic approach to life. She has been practicing under different teachers and disciplines since 2004, and completed a teacher training program at Niroga Institute. Barbara is committed to make mindful practices more accessible within the Spanish-speaking immigrant communities in the Bay Area, and is also intrigued by the similarities and union of dance, yoga and other mindful practices. She has practiced with different teachers and disciplines at an early age. In 2003 she participated in an Anusara yoga immersion, eventually finding a rich yoga training in Raja Yoga with the teachings of BK at the Niroga Institute. Nefertiti wishes to share what her teachers and her teacher's teachers have taught her to deliver a class where you can achieve awareness and inner peace, while providing balance, flexibility and strength with grace.

The reason we sleep goes far beyond simply replenishing our energy levels every 12 hours - our brains actually change states when we sleep to clear away the toxic byproducts of neural activity left behind during the day.
