Adding volume to the upper and lower eyelids with facial fat transfer was a key part of this 42 year old woman’s Lunata treatment plan. .eliasieh performed upper and lower blepharoplasty to improve symmetry and gently tighten the delicate skin of the eyelids, then harvested a small amount of fat from the abdomen—a more biocompatible and longer-lasting alternative to filler—to enhance the lower lid to cheek contour. A low-hanging lid can impair peripheral vision, particularly in the upper and outer fields, obstructing the field of view and making tasks like driving and reading more difficult. Removing the excess skin through upper blepharoplasty restores the field of vision and refreshes the eyes.
