Introducing the latest edition of our “People Behind the Product” series, where we celebrate the incredible individuals who make up our diverse team worldwide. We are thrilled to introduce Leonardo Serani, Constellation Support Specialist.
Leonardo Serani supports the commissioning, optimization, and ongoing performance of Constellation systems, working directly with customers and integration partners to ensure each installation meets Meyer Sound’s technical standards. With a strong focus on system tuning, troubleshooting, and real-world application, Leonardo helps users achieve consistent, high-quality acoustic performance while maximizing the capabilities of Constellation technology.
To get to know Leonardo better, we asked him a few questions about his work at Meyer Sound and life beyond the office.
Question: What is your favorite Meyer Sound memory?
Answer: Roskilde Festival 2025, without a doubt. It was my first time there. Having the opportunity to work side by side and learn from such a talented group of people, as the MS Technical Support team, was an invaluable experience. All of this, in a very unique festival ambiance.
Q: What book is on your bedside table?
A: I am a slow reader, so I tend to have a pile of books on my bedside table. Top 3 are “A Forgotten Lesson: Journeys through the History of Europe” (Guillermo Artes), ”Concert Halls and Opera Houses” (Leo Beranek), and ”Orientalism” (Eduard Said). Top 1 in the kitchen “on food and cooking” (Harold McGee)
Q: What does a perfect day off look like for you?
A: For me, the perfect day is getting together with family and friends around a barbecue, enjoying the day as it goes by — ideally somewhere beautiful and, of course, with a good Chilean red wine.
Q: Sweet or savory?
A: Savory. Since always.
Q. What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
A. I think people who know me know I am an amateur photographer, but only a few know that I have a passion for film photography. I tend to keep those photos just for myself. There is a kind of special magic in choosing the right film and using the right settings during the shot. There is also a degree of uncertainty involved, which makes the whole process even more appealing.
