Hi there! I’m Naya, practitioner of classical Asian medicine. In February it will be 15 years of practicing this medicine, which is basically following the natural rhythms of the body and the earth- our larger body- to restore harmony. It’s pretty simple really, although we like to make it hard.

Stay tuned for some easy medicinal habits we can all begin to make a part of our daily lives.

My daughter actually asked me for acupuncture for the first time ever the other night! I was already in bed and would rather have gone to sleep but my kids have never volunteered before so you bet I got out of bed for that. The truth is kids are really easy to treat. Their energy moves quickly and they don’t even need to keep the needles in long. I treat kids in the clinic with short sessions and even needle free if needed. Even cautious kids end up liking it.

We treat anything from muscle pain to allergies, digestive issues, anxiety and much more.

Feel free to call for a free consultation.

Breathing in, I am aware, breathing out, I am.

The year of the water rabbit has arrived. And with it deep introspection, the space between the breaths, the creative inspiration from the ground below.

Home, alliance, stability.
🐇
Empathy, intuition, nurture.

The gentle rabbit year energy asks us to listen in. To stop and feel. And because feeling can be too much sometimes, put up boundaries. Reach into your creative depths and explore.

And for more in depth information I encourage you to read Tigers play astrology about the energy of this year. It’s really deep (pun intended) 🐇

Still life with autumn light. Don’t forget to take in the beautiful waning light. It has its own beautiful quality that can heal and nourish you if you take the time. This time of year is for slowing down. For taking deap breaths. For sleeping and cuddling more. Allow your animal body to relax.

Happy Year of the water tiger. Gung hay fat choy! This year’s energy holds much needed change. It’s the energy of spring after a long winter. After sheltering for nearly two years we are in need of movement and change. As always with strong energy, don’t push it and use restraint. Discipline will be important to keep this energy in check. The water element adds drama, emotion and generosity. Water permeates connects and generates renewal. The Tiger energy can be innovation and creativity and it can be chaos. It’s important to take great care with an energy like this, it’s dynamic and unpredictable. It’s time to adapt and let go of resistance to change. Life is constant change and movement. I’ll post a link to more information on this exciting year.

As careful and as vaccinated as we may all be, omicron is so contagious that we may all fall prey eventually. Here's what to do if you get it.

As vaccinated and protected as we may all be, sometimes we still get it and we need to know how best to recover.
