Fluoride plays an important role in keeping teeth strong and healthy throughout life. It supports the natural repair process of enamel, helping teeth recover from everyday wear caused by acids from food and bacteria. Regular exposure to fluoride reduces the likelihood of cavities by making teeth more resilient over time. It's especially beneficial for children as teeth develop, but adults also gain ongoing protection. Common sources include toothpaste, professional dental treatments, and community water systems. Give us a call at (510) 528-4005 for more information.

False! Mouthwash can support oral health by helping reduce bacteria, strengthen enamel, and promote gum health. It's most effective when used as part of a complete routine that includes brushing and flossing. It's NOT a substitute for brushing or flossing. Different mouthwashes serve different purposes, so choosing the right one matters. Want to learn more? Call (510) 528-4005 with individual questions or concerns.
