Did you know rinsing after brushing can actually undo some of your hard work? When you rinse, you wash the fluoride in your toothpaste away. This ingredient strengthens enamel and protects against cavities. Instead, spit out the excess toothpaste and let that thin layer of fluoride keep working for you. Your teeth will thank you, and so will we! Please don't hesitate to contact us at (510) 528-4005 with any questions.

Did you know brushing only cleans about two-thirds of your teeth? The other one-third, the tight spaces between your teeth, can only be cleaned by flossing. When you skip flossing, plaque and bacteria stay trapped where your toothbrush can’t reach, leading to cavities, bad breath, and gum disease over time. Flossing just once a day can make a big difference in your oral health! Give us a call at (510) 528-4005 to learn more.

Did you know some mouthwashes can cause tiny crystal deposits if the formula isn’t stored or used correctly? These harmless crystals can form when ingredients like essential oils or flavoring agents separate over time. While they’re not dangerous, it’s best to shake your mouthwash before each use and check the expiration date to keep your rinse fresh and effective.
