As we reopen, we want to ensure that our clients remain safe and healthy. We have used official guidelines from the CDC, AMTA, ABMP, and other medical professionals to assist us with our plans. Massage is as much of a necessity now as ever, maybe even more so given the lack of shared space and physical contact during this past quarantine. Remember that our collective health and safety comes first and restoring our mental, emotional, and physical selves is our goal.
Sanitation and Cleanliness
We have increased our already high standards for maintaining a clean, healthy environment for our clients:
-All linens continue to be for single use before washing.
-Face masks will be required for staff and goggles will be required for therapists during sessions when clients cannot wear a mask.
-Clients will be required to wear face masks upon entering the building and treatment room but may remove them during sessions.
-All surfaces (including door k***s, restrooms, tables, massage tables etc.) will be sanitized between each session
-When possible, clients will be staggered throughout the day to ensure plenty of time for privacy and sanitation.
-Light contact payment transactions will be utilized. Sessions will be available in packages or for purchase online. Reducing the need for point of sale transactions where social distancing can be hard to maintain.
-Hand and arm washing and will be performed immediately before and after each client.
-Hand sanitizer will be readily available and easily accessible in treatment rooms and lobby Record keeping and documentation
-Daily log for therapist COVID -19 health screening including symptom checklist and temperature scan. -Client screening prior to appointments to track possible symptoms.
-A Clients and Staff Only Policy will be implemented in the studio as well as maintaining appointmentonly scheduling.
Our clients have our trust that they will do what is best for themselves and their communities and maintain general health in as many ways as possible. We here at Perry’s are always here to assist with those goals. Remember that if you are sick, give us a call or text to cancel your appointment without penalty. You are encouraged to reschedule for a later date so all of our clients (and communities) can stay happy and healthy.
