Taya Hamilton, APRN, CNM
is a nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife with advanced certification in functional medicine through IFM who approaches health as a deeply personal, interconnected journey. She believes meaningful healing begins with safety, trust, and being truly heard—and that the body carries both wisdom and memory that deserve compassionate attention.
Integrating conventional medical training with a root-cause, systems-based functional medicine approach, Taya supports patients in identifying imbalances, restoring resilience, and cultivating lasting well-being. Her clinical interests include women’s hormonal health, metabolic and inflammatory conditions, gut health, and whole-person care that recognizes the interplay between physiology, stress, and lived experience.
Known for her grounded presence and thoughtful listening, Taya partners with patients to create individualized care plans that are realistic, empowering, and sustainable. Her work is guided by a trauma-informed philosophy that honors each person’s story, prioritizes nervous system safety, and supports healing at a pace that feels respectful and collaborative.
She believes health is not simply the absence of disease, but a return to alignment, vitality, and trust in one’s body.
