The holidays are approaching and we are putting on the finishing touches here at Spring Oak of Berlin.

This is a hectic time for many, and a lonely time for others. We are looking to help families who need short-term respite care, and full time care.
While you’re on vacation, or realizing your loved one needs more assistance, the staff here at Spring Oak of Berlin is ready to help!

Our mission of providing PBJ's to the homeless has gained momentum. We have expanded from 7 to 15 dedicated club members who generously donate their time. Additionally, we have successfully collected and donated essential items such as blankets, 200 toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, Tylenol, and lip balms through word-of-mouth donations. Our most recent sandwich count increased from 80 to 110, thanks to our growing volunteer base. We also provide cases of chips and cookies.

Every Thursday, our residents gather for “Twisted Thursday” painting. Typically it’s recreating a picture. Today Rose, our Director of Business Operations, led a Zen session, with relaxing music. They all recreated an amazing picture of a sunset.
With the season transitioning from Fall to Winter, the sunsets are incredible. Our residents captured that from not only there memories but emotions.

Happy Veterans Day! It was a great way to start the morning, by being able to meet and speak with so many local veterans! It was the least we could do and pay for each one of these Veterans meal this morning. The love and respect was felt throughout the room.

Thank you local florists, Oopsie Daisy, for the flowers on the tables! They added the perfect touch to our tables. Palace Diner, your staff and the food was amazing. Thank you for allowing us to use your diner.

We love when we can do for our community, and joining forces with local businesses makes it that much better!
