Last week we made watercolor winged butterflies! A much easier craft than what we had been doing for them but what I love most about this craft, is that they all took the initiative to make their "own" butterflies! They changed the directions to make them what they wanted them to be and I thought that was so cool!

We had so much fun doing our patriotic crafts so far this summer! We started out with our flag shirts in June, moving on to our stars which we hung on the windows. We did our 4th of July door hangers which really turned out cute! And then we treated ourselves to patriotic ice cream cone cake desserts at our resident meeting! It has been fun celebrating our nation this summer! Happy Birthday to the USA! 🎆
